What: An open mingle post for anyone that might enjoy the nightclub scene! Wei Wuxian and York will have toplevels for you to tag into, but feel free to start your own and party the night away with friends!
When: Open to any nighttime! Club is open from 7PM-4AM every day

The Lotus is a hot nightclub that likes to have live performances all night for club attendees to enjoy. Singers, dancers, and more grace the stage at any given time. Performance times can be found on their social media pages. Music plays from open at 7PM until doors close at 4AM. A wide variety of music from DJs and performers will have you dancing the night away.

Not there for the entertainment but just to get your drink on? The Lotus has several unique mixed drinks that are sure to knock your socks off. Just ask the bartender about the nights Lotus Specials and be prepared. Some of them come in pitcher sizes intended to be shared with you and your companions.

Need a little break from the music and the wall to wall people? There is a convenient VIP lounge where you can sneak away and enjoy a little quiet time. Our performers like to hang out in the lounge to entertain their fans, so come and get an autograph or buy them a drink and become fast friends!

So come on in and have some fun! You might encounter a few familiar faces.

Xian (Wei Wuxian) || OTA

It was Wei Wuxian's night to perform and so as soon as 9:30 hit, he was onstage in all his glittery glory. His clothing is always as flamboyant as his performances can be, catching the light and sparkling like diamonds in the lights. Red is his favorite color but he has a variety of colored outfits to wear that are a rainbow of colors. And all of them are easy to wear and don't seem to constrict him at all even as he does some of his more intense dance moves. The crowd is lit and many sing along with him as he performs some of the bigger hits. He prefers covers over his own music, not really one to do much composing himself. Besides, the more popular the song, the bigger the crowd reacts.

Once 11:30PM hits he is off stage and wandering backstage for a few minutes to cool down, drink some water and get his heart rate back to normal. The adrenaline from performing making his heart pump hard. Making sure he looks fresh and clean in order to work the floor, he doesn't stay in the back long before he is out in the club. Part of his job is making sure everyone is having a good time.

Some call him a host, others just call him a flirt. And flirting is his favorite activity..well besides drinking. The more people he can flirt with, the more drinks people buy for him. If he really pours on the charms, he will have quite the buzz going before closing time. Which sometimes can get him in trouble but he doesn't care. He can handle anything that comes his way, and when he can't there are bouncers and bodyguards always close by.

And sometimes he relaxes in the VIP room, enjoying quiet conversation with people who have become some of his biggest followers, or friends that he has invited to stop by. Not everyone likes to spend all their time in the loud main areas of the club. And this room is perfect for just that time away.

And anytime he sees a familiar face at any part of the club there will always be that bright and charming smile, followed by an enthusiastic wave of his hand.

York | OTA

York's been working here for about a week now. It's not anything he's done before, but he's greatly enjoying it. He basically just checks IDs at the door, making sure no one underage comes in, and he also has the responsibility of breaking up any fights and escorting people out who may be harassing the performers. He gets free drinks, free (really good) food, and a decent paycheck. It's decent enough that he's considering dropping the other job that he also obtained the same day with Councilwoman Smith's office.

The best part of all this, for now, anyway, is surprising his friends who show up at the door to get in. Yup, he's here, and it's up to him whether you get in! Not that he'd deny anyone that privilege without reason.

Tonight is a typical night at the club, at least as far as he's experienced it. It's still a bit early, which means there's a little bit of a line, but there aren't too many people waiting. York understands, of course—everyone wants to arrive before Xian performs. So he doesn't dick around—checking IDs is easy enough. He just has to pay attention to the numbers in the birthdates because he has an unfortunate tendency to transpose text if he's not paying enough attention.

When he notices someone from the population of friends that show up to the support meetings, he always offers them a smile and a hand for a handshake. "Heyyy," he says brightly.
