What: An open mingle post for anyone that might enjoy the nightclub scene! Wei Wuxian and York will have toplevels for you to tag into, but feel free to start your own and party the night away with friends!
When: Open to any nighttime! Club is open from 7PM-4AM every day
Where: The Lotus Nightclub
Rating/Warnings: It's a nightclub so warnings for drunken and disorderly!

The Lotus is a hot nightclub that likes to have live performances all night for club attendees to enjoy. Singers, dancers, and more grace the stage at any given time. Performance times can be found on their social media pages. Music plays from open at 7PM until doors close at 4AM. A wide variety of music from DJs and performers will have you dancing the night away.

Not there for the entertainment but just to get your drink on? The Lotus has several unique mixed drinks that are sure to knock your socks off. Just ask the bartender about the nights Lotus Specials and be prepared. Some of them come in pitcher sizes intended to be shared with you and your companions.

Need a little break from the music and the wall to wall people? There is a convenient VIP lounge where you can sneak away and enjoy a little quiet time. Our performers like to hang out in the lounge to entertain their fans, so come and get an autograph or buy them a drink and become fast friends!

So come on in and have some fun! You might encounter a few familiar faces.

He leans at the bar, winking at the bartenders as they work. They know his tactics and both the women and the men merely smile knowingly at him as they prep the drinks for the people around them. As he settles atop that bar stool, he looks over at York, with that same flirty smile.

"I only know the best drinks." Even the non-alcoholic ones. Water with any kind of fruit in it is far better then just plain water. And he likes everything that goes in his mouth to have a little spark of flavor.

"You haven't had to break up any fights. You must be very intimidating." He looks him up and down as if trying to figure out how true that might be.

"We all know that's why," he says, winking at the bartender, who's walking by on her way to another customer.

"You know, honestly, I think it's the atmosphere here. No one wants to ruin it."

Their waters arrive and Wei Wuxian picks his up and takes a nice long drink from it. It's not going to do a lot to bring him down from this buzz but it will help with the aftermath.

"I can believe that. This place has that special magic." It's why he loves it. Always the best people to be around. He hooks his arm through York's and leans against him. "Make sure you do a good job protecting the atmosphere."

"I will. I promise you," he says, smiling in a seductive way.

He's not as buzzed as Xian but he figures taking a drink of his water is a good plan. He does so, tightening his grip on Xian's arm afterwards, although Xian is the one who grabbed first.

"You always this affectionate?"

"Mm..All the time. And I grow more affectionate the more I drink." He's well aware of the fact he can be a clingy drunk. But it's also what people like about him. He's not afraid to flirt and be friendly with any of the people who show up at the club.

But he's also someone who likes contact even when sober. He never had much physical contact as a child so he has grown up into someone who enjoys as much contact as possible.

"Also, more so with people I like."

He grins.

"I suppose I should consider this your stamp of approval on me, then."

"mm..Definitely have my approval." He drinks more of the water, enjoying the little fruity twist to the drink. His senses aren't all completely numbed from all the alcohol. He can still taste a little so it means he can handle a few more drinks in his future.

"You should consider yourself very lucky. Many in here would like to be the one attached to my arm right now."

"I do get that feeling."

He entangles his foot between Xian's legs, taking another drink of his water. There's an irrepressible smile on his lips.

"What do you usually do after closing?"

After a glance down at that foot, Wei Wuxian smirks as he looks at him from the corner of his eye, "After work..I usually do my last customer."

Not all the time. It's an exaggeration really. He doesn't sleep with everyone, but he likes to talk a big game. One night stands are definitely something he has had his fair share of however. Just takes the right person and the right amount of alcohol in his system. But Wei Wuxian is just drunk enough to not care exactly what comes out of his mouth. Look in the dictionary under shameless and you will find his picture.

He reaches over and tiptoes his fingers up York's thigh. "Why? Looking for some after hours entertainment?"

He chuckles.

"Hey, now. As long as it's on a friendly basis."

Meaning, not a paid basis. He doesn't know if that's what Xian is getting at but he doesn't just want to be a mark for a paycheck from now on.

But he's not going to discourage his touches, either. He's a bit touch-starved on a good day. He pets the back of Xian's hand as it climbs.

"Now don't you start," the bartender says, stopping on her way by with a raise of her eyebrow.

Wei Wuxian sticks his tongue out at the bartender. Wei Wuxian is a bad influence and she knows it. But they all know that as playful as he is, he also is a good guy.

He turns to York and pouts a little, "Of course it would be friendly. I don't get paid for after hours fun." Wei Wuxian just likes to not be alone. And if York desires contact, then he is happy to oblige. Wei Wuxian loves contact even when he isn't several drinks into a night.

He stands up and wraps his arms around York's neck, "I'll make sure to leave my dance card empty if you want to meet up after."

York smiles, glad to be on the same page with Xian now. He stands too, wrapping his arms around Xian's waist.

"I will be there. You dressing room at closing time?"

"Sounds like a plan. Don't be late." Xian will have to change out of his show clothes before he leaves anyway so that spot is the best place to meet up.

He unwraps himself from York with a wink, "Only a few hours to go until the real fun starts." Then turns to continue working, a little bit of a bounce in his step as he greets some of the regular customers.

"I won't be," he says. And he's not. As soon as the doors are locked and he's done his portion of nightly cleanup, he's at Xian's dressing room door, and raps to let Xian know he's there.

He was already changed out of his stage clothing and back into a red silky button up top and black skinny jeans. He pulls open the door and grins. He's had just enough time to rid himself of a small portion of alcohol..just enough that he can walk straight and not draw attention to himself anymore then he already does.

"Just in time. Ready to go?" He steps into the hall and lets the door shut behind him

York is himself dressed casually after changing out of his uniform, wearing the same jeans and T-shirt he'd worn to work tonight.

"Sure," he says. "Where we headed?"

He hooks his arm through York's and starts heading towards the exit.

"hmm..I don't normally take people home but I could probably make an exception. Unless you'd rather show me yours." He waves to some of the other employees as he goes past, always one to make sure he says goodbye to everyone no matter how plastered he is.

"Or if you're in need of a little more liquid encouragement, there are plenty of bars still open."

"We can go to my place," he says. "As long as you don't mind, uh... Well, I mean, it looks lived-in."

He's not really a slob but...things are cluttered. And he'd never made his bed this morning.

"I'm pretty sure the last thing I'm going to be thinking about, is the state of your apartment." Nor does he care. His apartment would probably be a mess if he didn't hire someone to take care of it for him. He's not exactly the cleaning kind of person.

York chuckles. "All right. I live in Queens, so we'll have to take the subway."

[chenqing_player]

"Late night Subway ride. Glad I have someone to protect me." He's not that concerned about it but he certainly doesn't take the subway too often. He is used to just walking everywhere which is good considering he is usually fairly drunk when he has to walk home.

"Hell yeah, you do," he grins.

Thankfully he doesn't live far from the subway stop once they reach Queens. They ride the train, talking all the while, and once they get off the train they take the short walk to get to his walk-up.

York unlocks the door and sweeps his arm, gesturing for Xian to lead the way in.

"My bodyguard and a gentleman. I've lucked out tonight." He smirks as he heads into the building. He looks around but had promised not to judge on the state of it, but it really was no worse then any other place he has ever been. York had nothing to be ashamed of.

"So, here it is," York says. He's never been diagnosed with ADHD but the place shows signs of that sort of thing—some overflowing baskets of papers on the desk, a few spices sitting out on the counter from the last time he cooked—things like that. Thankfully he'd done the dishes recently.

"You want anything?" he asks. "I have some club soda with lime, some cola, and uh..."

He opens the fridge and roots around a bit.

"Couple cans of orange soda."

"Sure, hand me a cola. A little something with taste to help nudge away the last of to alcohol." He has had enough water to drink tonight to sail a small boat home on.

He leans against the counter as he waits.
