He really wasn't all that kind, Aziraphale thought. He could stand to be kinder. And perhaps more considerate of others and thoughtful towards their feelings. But he was glad she thought that of him, at the very least. He wanted to be kind, especially to those who had been that to him--like Alec.

"I think having you here is comfort." A disruption to their normal lives, certainly, but a comfort nonetheless. "It's a comfort to me to know Alec has more people looking after him, anyway. There's only so much one can do for him if he won't let himself be helped, and Anthony shouldered a lot of that himself the night Alec went to the hospital. So thank you."

He awkwardly helped himself to another cookie, unsure what else to say.
