Who: Anakin and York
What: Testing the blasters against titanium
When: Today
Where: Roof of Anakin’s apartment building
Rating/Warnings: They are shooting blasters at metal. Probably low?
“Alright,” Anakin said, setting up the titanium sheeting against the retaining wall around the roof of his apartment building. He then jogged back to York. The blasters were leaning beside the door back inside the building. There were also a few other things by the door: some of the plating armor from a few of the hardier droids and a few bodies of broken droids. For testing purposes, if necessary.
“So, that square of titanium is the highest grade we can get as civilians. And it’s as thick as your suit armor. All we have to do is see how long it takes for the blasters to shoot through it.”

"All right," he says, once he's ready to give it a go. "Want to take turns?"

"You get to go first." This was to test his armor and all that, so York should be the first to go.
you decide the damage on the titanium, i know you researched it
York takes the weapon, holding it rather reverently, as someone with good trigger discipline should do. He turns and faces the titanium, and decides to start with a short, rapid blast. He doesn't want to shoot a higher intensity beam until they see what a short blast will do.

He watched at the bolts of plasma hit the titanium. With the low-intensity beam, there were definite black scorch marks left on the surface.
"Set it higher," he encouraged, maybe a bit too enthusiastically. But he wanted to see where the boundaries were with the materials they had.
