Notes: If you want your character to ask for Bureau help, the Bureau will help. However, players will need to handwave that interaction because the Mods don't have time to play out all of that.

"It wasn't much. You are a student in cultivation. You studied this magic, but not raising the dead kind. It's basically magic and using spiritual energy for good. You came to the Lan school with your brother and sister."

He stops for a bit, to see if that makes sense to him. "That's how we knew each other as friends. You and your siblings come to my clan to learn and study the basics."

He sighs softly, "I haven't seen any of that yet." which means he has a lot of questions but he doesn't want to ask them. He isn't even sure which of his memories is the earliest but he has an idea.

"I think the only really happy memory i have had so far is where I saw my sister in her wedding clothes."

But..he knows how that all turns out in the end. Not well.

"I hope you do. In my memories, you're a good student, but you like to break the rules because my clan is strict. There's over 4,000 rules. Unfortunately, that's all I could remember."

With a nod, "I was there also. It was an accident. She came and was rushing to try to find you. You have a brother also. They came from the Jiang sect of Yunmeng." Wondering if that rings any bells.

"4000 rules...no wonder I want to break them. I can barely live with 1." That is such a crazy number of rules..what kind of repressive country did that guy live in? Wei Wuxian would have gone crazy in that kind of environment.

He nods though when he hears about the brother. He had been in both memories with his sister as well. And..then during his death.

"I lived in a strict clan where discipline and self-restraint is necessary. While you lived there, you copy 4,000 rules by each line as part of the daily lesson, and everyone wakes up at 5am to start the day."

He slightly frowns, not sure if he's slightly amused. "So, you're a bad boy who likes to break rules. You seemed to be the type." He said with a shrug.

He shudders at the thought of being awake at 5AM. There are some nights when he has barely crawled into bed at that point. "Nothing wrong with being a bad boy."

But everything wrong with being an evil villain. There is probably a fine line there that he somehow crossed during his life in the other time period.

"Mn. Bad boys usually don't usually do well in school."

He thought about what else to say. "So, cultivation. You're not the slightest interested in learning? From my memories, one start learning by reading the Tao. Are you familiar with the book, the Tao?"

Wei Wuxian was actually a really good student when he was in school. A troublemaker but smart. He just didn't have any desires to continue his learning and went into performing instead. But as for reading, it has been a long time since he has read any book and he certainly wouldn't have read that one.

"Can't say that I know anything about it. I stopped caring about learning the minute I graduated high school."
