[ 1. Petshopping ]

It's not unusual for Jem's shopping days to be like this - it's always a trip for a few things and turns into an adventure of vast treasure. You'd think he would have learnt to use a cart by now. But this tall and slender man is carrying several bags of varying birdseed, some cuttlebones, and an array of new bird toys (He likes to spoil his babies, okay?). They're stacked in the comical way that they cover his line of sight, and he has to struggle to peek around his pile to make sure he doesn't accidentally crash into anyone.

He's a little clumsy in his step, but still careful, as he makes it to the bird treats and reaches out a hand to grab a few more packets, trying to balance his already-found goodies on one of his knees. Unfortunately, it seems to not be quite as balanced as he hopes, and the tower of items begins to topple. He fumbles to try and get it back under control, but he can only yell out:

"Watch out!"

because the pile is crashing down, now. He tries hard to twist them so that it doesn't fall on anyone else, but the weight is already more than he anticipated. Hopefully it misses you. And he'll rush to check on you afterward.

"Are you alright?! I'm sorry!"

Don't mind him if he starts to do a basic check on you - injuries, concussions, etc. Even if nothing hit you. Can't be too careful.

[ 2. Lotus Bar ]

Jem definitely enjoys his line of work, being a bartender at the Lotus Bar. He gets to enjoy the shows and talk to the customers, and service has always been kind of his thing. He's upbeat and full of energy as he caters around to other customers. He mixes the drinks with flair, daring to even show off a little with the tricks he knows.

He flitters quickly but smoothly between tables and the bar to make sure everyone is served in a timely, but kind, fashion.

A wink and a pour, and the next customer is served and satisfied.

He struts over to you next, with a warm smile.

"Hello, there. What can I get for you to drink this evening? We have a menu sure to tantalise your tastebuds."
