The streets of Krajina Božstiev are dusty and crowded. So many people on their way to live their lives. Markets, taverns, the Temple, the Palace. What do you look at first? What do you buy? Where to do you find yourself exploring?

Take a moment to appreciate the shine of the Temple. The beauty of the Palace gardens. The quiet serenity of the Library. The simplistic, but filling food in the taverns. Or the peaceful quaintness of the hills. A new world has opened up and somehow it all just seems simpler over here. People seem happy (mostly) in this existence.

Maybe...

Watch out for the occasional person going into a rage on the other side of the street or tavern. That can't mean anything...

Lisa quirks an eyebrow as she scoops up her things and shuffles over. "I'm not sure that's the kind of place we're in anyway, y'know? This seems like a lot more of a community place. And anyway-" As she sets her plate down and drinks from her own mug before letting it join the plate, she grins. "You wouldn't be intruding. I don't think any of the Different would be intruding, but you in particular. Not after everything."

That thought of non-interference makes her pause for a second, though. "Hmm... Well, on the surface, this is just a vacation, right? I don't know if interference is the right word. We haven't done anything like that."

Him, in particular. The thought warms him, even as he's not quite sure what that means exactly.

"Yeah, not yet," he agrees with a smile. "Bureau can shove it for now. It's been pretty fun so far. What have you been up to?"

"The Bureau can shove it in general," Lisa says pointedly. "But no, I've been spending time in the markets, because I'm predictable and cheap." She chuckles lightly, shaking her head. "Enjoying the festival. Taking deep breaths. Feeling my cholesterol go up a few points. Why did it have to be eggs?"

He laughs, shrugging.

"It is getting a bit much, right? Eggs are great and all, but I don't think I'm going to willingly make them for breakfast for at least a few months once this whole thing is over."

"Hey, don't forget about all the other things you're givin' up if you do that. Going without eggs will be a real shame. Although, by that token..." Lisa pulls the obsidian she'd gotten from the market that morning out of her bag, examining it. "For all the eggs, these are the things that are supposed to be important, right?"

Elliott peers over at the stone, plenty curious about the other stones he hasn't had a chance to acquire yet.

"Yeah! I got this one." He pulls out a plain, soft pink rose quartz. "They're supposed to bless the holder with something or other. Bit of that new age store vibe."

Lisa looks at the stone Elliott's holding, interested herself. She's no geologist, but- "It's pretty. And I think I need all the blessings I can get, right? It's weird spiritual stuff, but this isn't our world. For all we know they actually do something!"

She glances at the door. "Hopefully one of them's good luck - it'd really suck if Yotsuyu walked in right now."
