Near dawn the Doctor comes out and informs him that his cousin's condition has been stabilized, but that they want to keep him in the hospital for a few days for observation. They also suggest that Anthony go home and get some rest, as for now Alec is unconscious and isn't likely to regain it for a few more hours at least.
