Elliott glanced up, then shifted back into himself with a grimace.

"Sorry, I didn't meant to uh.. But.. it was some special ability one of my predecessors could use. I'm sure that's not its full power, but it's all I can do right now."

He shrugged. "Not sure what I'd use it for anyway, even if I could."
