Elliott cocked his head, but spread his hands to show he didn't have a lighter in them, and the flame continued at the end of his finger. Still, he snapped it out.

His stance widened, arm stretched out with his right hand clasped over his wrist. He turned all his focus on it until light shone at the end of his palm. A translucent dagger appeared then, hanging suspended in a glow of orange light.
He only had a moment to admire the way it reflected in the room like there were dozens of them before it disappeared.
