Clarence nodded, not wanting to speak much if he could help it. He wouldn't dismiss anything Elliott said but if he couldn't stop speaking normally, he didn't want to risk it.

"Mmm," he shrugged, not particularly hungry. "Anything but banana peppers. Pepperoni and sausage is fine. Mushrooms if you don't eat meat."

He could eat just about anything, but banana peppers... Why did they have to have banana in the name if they tasted so terrible?
