Why should magic be out of the question? Was it even out of the question normally if all the rest of this could happen to them?

Funny enough, he wasn't sure he believed her protests. If she was this interested in his own search, and she was a musician if he recalled correctly, her sentiments of not caring about any of what her visions gave her seemed more born of frustration with the situation than actual truths.
