He listens quietly, trying to figure out if that lines up with any of the memories he has had. He does vaguely remember hearing the name "Wen" a few times.

"If I was trying to save people, then why is it I'm always killing them in these memories?" Because that seems to be completely different from what he should be doing. If he wants to save people then he shouldn't want to hurt anyway. Everything points to him being the bad guy and not some vigilante savior.

When does he get to enjoy the memories where someone actually survives because of his efforts?
