Wei Wuxian has been messing with the talismans that he has been creating since learning how and so the hot dogs were cooked over a trashcan using one of those. And now that the food is all cooked, he uses that same waste basket as a kind of testing spot. Tossing different ones into it like a game to see what happens. First there is the fire, then ice, then smoke which he quickly uses a binding one to suppress before it fills up the whole room and alerts the Bureau to what he is doing.

Just as he is about to toss another one into the basket he pauses as the other man speaks about his memories. He swallows hard and a frown crosses his lips as he looks over at him from the corner of his eye.
